I hear on the grapevine that North Bristol Advice Centre are donating one of their mugs!
NOTE: Latest news is that the ‘Lockleaze’ exhibit is expected end of July/beginning of August with an “official launch” probably in September.

I heard today that the sign from the old Lockleaze Secondary School has been donated.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think that is true - also the weather vane. If you are interested in the history of Lockleaze worth looking out a copy of Lockleaze (Britain in old Photographs)by Ian Haddrell (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lockleaze-Britain-Old-Photographs-Haddrell/dp/0752454072)

ReplyDeleteI know that North Bristol Advice Centre run a Community Support at Home project for older residents. I have enjoyed attending some of their 'Tea and Talks' in the past. Wondering if they could organise a day trip for older residents to visit this exhibition?
