Connect <> Lockleaze plans to run a number of event and taster sessions throughout the week at the three IT hubs around Gainsborough Square (Cameron Centre, Langley Centre and Boing!) so what we would like is for you to tell us what you'd like to try...
We've been thinking about a bit of comic book making... some t-shirt printing...maybe a bit of online job seeking... and definitley some silver surfing! What other ideas do you have?

How about creating and encouraging use of a Lockleaze Friends Facebook social page? FB is a great and fun tool to help people learn about using the internet, and to keep in touch with friends
ReplyDeleteHi, yes facebook is a great tool for sharing information and keeping in touch. A number of organisations in Lockleaze have Facebook pages (North Bristol Advice Centre, Boing!, Bristol Community Housing Foundation etc)and there is a 'Love Lockleaze' page (http://www.facebook.com/groups/lovelockleaze/) so I think we might be better served getting people to use these more frequently!
