We held a joint event with North Bristol Advice Centre's 'Community Support at Home' project for older people in the community to have a go with different technology and ways to get online, as part of Digital Unite's 'Spring Online' week. Communities around the country teamed up with charities, libraries and some businesses to hold one of workshops and events for people to learn about getting online.
In Lockleaze, our brilliant bunch of volunteers taught people gave people short tasters about how to get onto email, Skype, Facebook and even using iPads!
Things our learners said...
'I found the sessions very helpful, so have a renewed interest in computing.'
'I would be interested in further learning about everything! Thanks for a lovely afternoon.'
